Alain Jégou

A former Lorient fisherman, born in 1948 and died at the age of 64 in 2013, Alain Jégou was a Beat Generation inspired poet. He is credited with numerous poetry collections, including Passe Ouest and Ikaria LO 686070, for which he received the Prix Livre et Mer Henri-Queffélec.
