Hélène Dorion

 

Born in Quebec City in 1958, Hélène Dorion is a Quebec poet and novelist. While pursuing a career as a teacher and publisher (at Noroît), she wrote a substantial literary work, mainly in poetry, which won her many awards, including the Prix Mallarmé, the Prix Anne-Hébert and the Canadian Governor General’s Award. She has also worked on many artist’s books and contributed to various journals.
