Philippe Delaveau
Born in 1950, Philippe Delaveau is a writer, translator, and art critic, but he is best known as a poet. Author of around ten poetry collections, his work is marked by lyrical intensity and spiritual depth. Delaveau’s poetry has earned him major literary honors, including the Guillaume-Apollinaire Prize, the Max Jacob Prize, the Rainer Maria Rilke Prize, and the Grand Prize for Poetry from the Académie française. In addition to his written work, he has also been closely involved in the world of artist’s books, collaborating with visual artists such as Julius Baltazar. Through these projects, he has contributed to strengthening the dialogue between poetry and the visual arts, establishing himself as a central figure in contemporary French poetry.
